Terms of Service
Last updated: September 18, 2026
These terms explain how our website and purchases work, what you can expect from GemGlow, and the responsibilities that apply when you shop with us.
1. About these terms
gemglow.in is operated by Subyarth Craft Pvt. Ltd., trading as GemGlow. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean this company. Our online store is hosted on Shopify.
These Terms of Service govern use of our store and purchases from us. Please review them before placing an order. By placing an order or otherwise expressly accepting these terms, you agree to them. Website users must also follow the lawful-use rules below.
Our Returns & Refunds Policy and Shipping Policy provide additional purchase details. Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices. Accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional marketing or other data processing.
2. Eligibility and account details
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to create an account or place an order. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so.
Provide accurate contact, billing, and delivery details, and tell us promptly about changes relevant to an order. Keep your account credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. Submit payment credentials only through the payment provider’s secure checkout, not by email or chat.
3. Products, descriptions, and natural variations
We aim to describe products, materials, dimensions, quantities, and finishes accurately. Please review the individual listing before ordering and contact us if an important detail is unclear.
Natural stones and handmade products may vary in colour, pattern, inclusions, texture, shape, or finish. Dimensions and weights described as approximate may vary within the stated range. Screen settings and lighting may also affect how colours appear.
These variations do not excuse damage, a wrong product, incorrect material identification, or a material difference from the listing. They do not remove your rights under our return policy or applicable law. A natural, treated, manufactured, or synthetic material must be described according to the product actually supplied.
4. Spiritual and wellness descriptions
Descriptions of crystal meanings, energy, chakra associations, rituals, and spiritual benefits refer to traditional beliefs or personal practices. We do not promise specific health, financial, relationship, or other life outcomes.
Our crystals and spiritual products are not offered as medicines or as products intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Website content is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or financial advice. Do not delay or discontinue appropriate professional care because of a product description.
Follow the product’s care and safety instructions. Stones, beads, and small decorative pieces are not intended for ingestion or use as children’s toys. This section does not excuse misleading claims or limit rights relating to product quality and safety.
5. Prices, payments, and promotions
The applicable price, currency, taxes, discounts, and any delivery or other charges will be shown before you confirm your purchase. Unless a different currency is expressly shown, prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). You must be authorised to use the payment method selected.
Prices and offers may change for future purchases. We will not increase the agreed price of an accepted order without your consent. If a material pricing or listing error affects your order, we will explain the issue and seek your agreement to a correction or offer cancellation and a refund, subject to applicable law.
Promotion eligibility, validity periods, and any restrictions must be disclosed with the offer. We may investigate fraudulent use of an offer, but will not remove a valid discount from an accepted order merely because the promotion later ends.
6. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is a request to purchase the selected products. An automated message acknowledging receipt of your order does not by itself confirm acceptance unless it expressly says that your order has been accepted. We accept your order when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch the ordered products, whichever happens first.
Orders are subject to availability, successful payment or confirmation of an available payment arrangement, and reasonable verification. Any quantity limits or delivery restrictions will be disclosed before purchase where known.
If we cannot fulfil all or part of an order, we will tell you and refund the amount paid for the cancelled part, including any charges that are no longer applicable. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
7. Order changes and cancellations
To request a change or cancellation, contact us promptly with your order number. We will confirm whether the request can be completed, depending on the order’s fulfilment stage. If dispatch cannot be stopped, the return process and any applicable statutory cancellation rights will apply.
We may decline an unaccepted order, or cancel where legally permitted, for a legitimate reason such as unavailable stock, an unserviceable delivery location, failed payment, suspected fraud supported by reasonable grounds, or a material error that cannot be resolved. We will notify you and explain the reason where doing so is lawful and appropriate.
If an order is cancelled and you have paid, we will refund the amount due without undue delay and within applicable legal time limits. We will not deduct an undisclosed penalty or impose an unfair cancellation charge.
8. Shipping and delivery
Available destinations, shipping charges, processing periods, and delivery information are provided at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Please provide a complete address and a contact number that can be used for delivery.
We will keep you informed of known material delays. If an order appears lost, is marked delivered but has not arrived, or reaches you damaged, contact us so we can investigate with the courier and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Using a third-party courier does not remove our responsibilities as the seller. Delivery estimates and circumstances outside our control do not override remedies available for non-delivery or qualifying late delivery under applicable law.
9. Returns, refunds, and product issues
You may request a change-of-mind return within 7 calendar days after delivery, subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy. The day after delivery counts as day one. This is the deadline to request the return, not for the parcel to reach us.
For change-of-mind returns, items must meet the unused-condition and packaging requirements in that policy, and the customer pays return shipping. For confirmed damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially misdescribed items, we arrange the return at our cost or reimburse reasonable return shipping agreed in advance.
Approved return refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval, or sooner where required by law. The detailed process and payment methods are explained in the return policy.
The 7-day voluntary return window does not limit statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered products, or other remedies available under applicable consumer protection law.
10. Lawful use of the website
You must not use our website to:
- Commit fraud, impersonate others, use unauthorised payment details, or submit deliberately false information.
- Upload malware, disrupt the store, bypass security controls, or access accounts or systems without permission.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or unlawfully collect another person’s information.
- Publish unlawful threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, or defamatory material.
- Use automated access that circumvents restrictions, extracts protected information without authority, or places an unreasonable load on our systems.
11. Intellectual property
Our brand assets, original product photographs, website designs, text, and other protected materials belong to us or their respective rights holders. You may access and use the website for legitimate browsing and shopping.
You may not copy or commercially exploit protected material without permission, except where permitted by law. These terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you or restrict lawful uses that do not require permission.
12. Reviews, feedback, and submissions
Reviews should reflect your genuine experience. Only submit material you are entitled to share, and avoid including another person’s private information.
You retain ownership of your original content. When you submit a review or other material for public display, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, and format it for that purpose. We will not materially change its meaning. Separate permission will be requested where required for a different use, such as featuring your photo in an advertisement.
We may remove spam, fraudulent reviews, unlawful content, or material that violates these terms. We will not remove a genuine review solely because it is negative. Private support messages are not automatically treated as public testimonials, and personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.
13. Privacy, Shopify, and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains the collection, use, sharing, and protection of personal information and how to exercise applicable choices.
Shopify hosts our store and processes information about visits and purchases. Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, relevant information may also be used with information from interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide services such as personalisation, security, and advertising. Shopify and relevant third parties may process this information in other countries, as explained in our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy.
Independent tools, websites, or services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Review those before using them. We do not control independent third-party websites, but this does not remove our responsibilities for products we sell or services we arrange.
14. Website availability and corrections
We aim to keep the website available and information accurate, but technical faults, maintenance, or temporary interruptions may occur. General articles may be updated as information changes.
We may correct errors in listings or website content. Where a material error affects an existing order, we will notify you and address it under Sections 5 to 9. A correction does not authorise a unilateral price increase or remove an express promise or statutory right.
15. Responsibility and limitations of liability
We remain responsible for our obligations under these terms, the descriptions and promises made about products, and applicable law. These terms do not disclaim all product warranties or make every purchase entirely at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable as a result of our breach, or for business losses arising from a purchase made for personal use. Any limitation must be applied consistently with your statutory rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, statutory product liability, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your rights to refunds, replacement, compensation, or other remedies under applicable law remain available.
16. Restricting or ending access
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to respond to a material breach of these terms, suspected fraud, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it.
You may stop using the website at any time. Closing or restricting an account does not cancel outstanding obligations or remove rights relating to an existing order, refund, complaint, or personal information.
17. Events outside reasonable control
Events such as severe weather, transport disruption, or government restrictions may affect fulfilment. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and communicate material delays. If performance becomes impossible or an order must be cancelled, we will address outstanding payments and applicable refund or other rights. This clause does not automatically excuse every delay or remove rights provided by law.
18. Updates and interpretation
We may update these terms for future use of the store and future orders. The revised terms will be posted with an updated date, with additional notice or acceptance where required. Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights relating to orders already accepted.
The terms and purchase policies disclosed for your order, together with its agreed product details, form the purchase agreement. A specific promise made for an order is not cancelled by a general disclaimer. The Privacy Policy governs privacy matters, and the specific return and shipping policies govern their respective subjects, always subject to applicable law.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as they can lawfully operate. A delay in enforcing a right is not automatically a waiver of that right.
19. Governing law and resolving concerns
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase. Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it promptly.
Contacting us does not prevent you from approaching a consumer commission, regulator, or court with jurisdiction, or require you to give up a legal remedy. These terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or restrict you to a court where applicable law gives you a right to file elsewhere.
